Job summary

Amphenol TCS Malaysia is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function at the Senai Plant. The role requires hands-on leadership across payroll, compensation & benefits, recruitment, training, and foreign worker administration, with strong analytical and organizational skills.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years in HR, including 2–3 years in a managerial capacity within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and excellent English and Bahasa Malaysia

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Studies, or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of HR experience, with 2-3 years in a managerial role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of full-spectrum HR operations including payroll, recruitment, training, and foreign worker administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily HR operations at the Senai Plant.
• Ensure HR policies and best practices are implemented across the organization.
• Provide timely updates and reports on HR matters to the HR & Communications Manager.
• Monitor performance and develop team accountabilities to achieve HR KPIs.
• Lead and coach HR team members to deliver high-quality services.
• Oversee payroll administration and ensure timely payroll processing.
• Manage compensation and benefits per company policy and statutory requirements.
• Plan workforce to meet operational needs and manpower requirements.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing to onboarding and probation follow-up.
• Develop the annual Training Plan based on Training Needs Analysis and cost analysis.

Job description

Support the HR & Communications Manager in managing the full spectrum of day-to-day Human Resources operations at our Senai Plant. The successful candidate will lead and oversee HR functions including Compensation & Benefits, Manpower Planning, Training & Development, Foreign Workers and Expatriate Administration, Hostel Management, Employee Relations, Staff Welfare, General Administration, and HR Audit Compliance. This role requires a proactive and hands-on HR professional with strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills, preferably with extensive experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

Oversee and manage the daily HR operations of the Senai Plant

Ensure the effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization

Provide timely and periodic updates, reports, and communication on HR-related matters to the HR & Communications Manager

Monitor departmental performance and develop team accountabilities to ensure HR objectives, KPIs, and operational responsibilities are achieved

Lead, coach, and support HR team members in delivering efficient and high-quality HR services

Oversee payroll administration and ensure timely and accurate payroll processing

Manage compensation and benefits administration in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements

Manage workforce planning to support operational and business manpower requirements

Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer preparation, onboarding, and probation follow-up

Develop the annual Training Plan based on Training Needs Analysis and Cost Analysis

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Studies, Business Administration, Management, or equivalent

Minimum 12 years of relevant working experience in Human Resources (2-3 years in Managerial Position), preferably within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of full-spectrum HR operations including payroll, recruitment, training, employee relations, and foreign worker administration

Excellent administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Strong analytical and numerical aptitude with good proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to maintain high accuracy in HR documentation and reporting

Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing HR team

Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively as a team player

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
