Job summary

Masimo, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Manager, Facility & Maintenance to oversee all facilities in Malaysia from Pasir Gudang, Johor. This on-site role reports to the General Manager and leads a facilities team to ensure reliable operations and compliance with quality systems.

Responsibilities include ISO/QSR compliance, safety and environmental regulation adherence, hazardous materials handling, space planning, site selection, and coordinating facility maintenance and preventive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or technical field from an accredited university.
• Experience in Facilities Management / Equipment Maintenance with a proven track record.
• Several years in a supervisory/management role.
• Strong knowledge in maintenance, electronic and mechanical systems.
• Full technical knowledge of facility systems and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ISO/QSR facilities related requirements are met.
• Ensure local Safety, Health, and Environmental compliance.
• Ensure Hazardous materials compliance and handling.
• Maintain space planning models for facilities.
• Coordinate site selection and TI projects.
• Coordinate Facility & Equipment Maintenance.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs aligned with quality systems.

The Manager, Facility & Maintenance is responsible for all facilities within Malaysia. The incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day running of the facilities & equipment, in order to adequately conduct business whenever required. This position reports to the General Manager and is part of the Facility & Maintenance team located in Pasir Gudang, Johor and will be an on-site role.

• Compliance with ISO/QSR facilities related requirements;
• Compliance with local Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements;
• Compliance with Hazardous material requirements;
• Maintains space planning models;
• Coordinate site selection and T/I projects;
• Coordinate Facility & Equipment Maintenance;
• Responsible for maintaining preventive maintenance program to ensure the maintenance schedules are met according to quality systems requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred or technically related field from an accredited university Years of experience in Facilities Management / Equipment Maintenance experience with a proven track record
• with several years in a supervisory/management role
• Strong knowledge and expertise in field of maintenance, electronic and mechanic maintenance
• Strong organizational, communication, CAD software for facility layout, record keeping skills
• Full technical knowledge of Facility systems and preventative maintenance practices
• Must have independent work skills, a strong work ethic, & ability to handle multiple projects

Bonus / Incentive Pay Up to 10% of annual base salary

This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay. This is the target earnings as % of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions.
