Job summary

Masimo, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Manager of Training to develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive employee training programs at our Pasir Gudang site. You will assess needs, design curricula, and coordinate delivery across departments to build capabilities and support organizational goals.

• Diploma or degree in HR, Education, Business, or related certificate.
• Experience in Training Management with related responsibilities.
• Excellent communication, self-motivated, deadline-driven.
• Proven experience in instructional design and training delivery.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and design methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
• Assess training needs, design curriculum, and coordinate learning initiatives.
• Report to General Manager; be part of Training team; on-site in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
• Identify and address skill gaps; design materials; deliver sessions and workshops.
• Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and participant registration for trainings.
• Create and implement career development programs to support growth and retention.

Responsibilities

• The Manager, Training is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees within the organization.
• This role involves assessing training needs, designing curriculum, and coordinating various learning initiatives to support employee development and organizational goals.
• This position reports to the General Manager and is part of the Training team located in Pasir Gudang, Johor and will be an on-site role.
• In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Conduct assessments to identify training needs and gaps in employee skills and knowledge. Collaborate with department heads to understand organizational objectives and align training programs accordingly. Design and develop training materials, curriculum, and resources. Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars. Implement assessment methods to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. Manage logistical aspects of training, including scheduling, venue coordination, and participant registration. Develop and implement career development programs to support employee growth and retention.

Essential requirements

• The essential requirements of the job include: Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or any other relevant certificate that may be considered in lieu of a Dip/Degree.
• Years of experience in Training Management with related experience
• Strong Communication skill. Work Independently, deadline-focused, self-motived & pro-active
• Proven Experience in Instructional design and training delivery.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and build effective working relationships.

• Bonus / Incentive Pay Up to 10% of annual base salary
