Job summary

JOYX (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to lead the Information and Communication Technology Management team in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. The role focuses on planning, coordinating and executing technology initiatives to drive business growth and operational excellence.

You will manage a team of technology professionals, develop governance processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with company strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven ICT management or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICT practices and standards.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; able to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager to join our Information and Communication Technology Management team in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. As a Manager, you will be responsible for leading your team to deliver high-quality solutions, ensuring operational excellence and driving business growth through effective management and strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities

• Leading and managing a team of technology professionals, providing mentorship, guidance and performance management to ensure high standards of delivery
• Planning, coordinating and overseeing the execution of technology projects and initiatives aligned with company strategy and objectives
• Developing and implementing management processes, policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and team productivity
• Managing budgets and resources effectively to ensure optimal allocation and cost control across assigned functions
• Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators and project metrics to stakeholders and senior leadership
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions and services
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement, innovation and organisational development within the technology function

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in an ICT management or leadership role, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing teams and technology projects
• Strong knowledge of information and communication technology practices, methodologies and industry standards
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and inspire team members
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions
• Proficiency in project management, with experience in planning, scheduling and resource allocation
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and cost control
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field
• Professional certifications in management, project management or ICT disciplines are advantageous
• Experience working in the Malaysian technology sector or with Malaysian organisations is preferred
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin, with strong communication skills in both languages. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
