Job summary

Ajinomoto Malaysia is seeking a passionate Chef Intern specializing in Malaysian and Asian cuisine to join the team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to culinary application, recipe development, and new product development within a real business environment.

You will collaborate with the team to develop and test food applications using various products and ingredients, while gaining practical experience in sensory evaluation and product prototyping.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Culinary Management, Food Service or a related field.
• Strong interest in Malaysian and Asian cuisine.
• Comfortable with hands-on cooking and food preparation.
• Creative and interested in recipe development and food innovation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cooking activities for sensory evaluation sessions related to new business and product development.
• Support new product prototype development with Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad and OEM partners.
• Assist in new product recipe and menu development for Malaysian and Asian cuisine.
• Support and participate in new product application training for AMB’s Sales team and customers.
