Job summary

Linaco Group in Shah Alam, Malaysia is seeking an Intern in R&D to assist the team in developing and improving food products and recipes. You will support product formulation, recipe trials, and laboratory testing in a fast-paced kitchen and lab environment.

The internship requires at least 3 months and a current Diploma or Bachelor's degree pursuit in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or related field. You will gain hands-on experience with taste testing, documentation, and adherence to food safety

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Food Technology, Hospitality, Nutrition, or related field.
• Internship duration of at least 3 months.
• Willing to work in a kitchen and food production environment.
• Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the R&D team in developing and improving food products and recipes.

• Prepare product samples for internal evaluations and presentations.
• Ensure kitchen and workstations are clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Maintain inventory of ingredients, kitchen utensils, and equipment.

• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

Job Responsibility

• Assist the R&D team in developing and improving food products and recipes.

• Clean and prepare chicken and other raw ingredients according to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Support cooking demonstrations, product testing, and recipe standardization.
• Assist in conducting taste tests and recording feedback and observations.
• Prepare product samples for internal evaluations and presentations.
• Ensure the kitchen and workstations are clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
• Maintain inventory of ingredients, kitchen utensils, and equipment.
• Assist in documenting recipes, trial results, and product specifications.
• Comply with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Food Technology, Hospitality, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Internship duration of at least 3 months.

• Comfortable handling raw food ingredients, including poultry and seafood.
