Job summary

Aircamo Aviation Ltd in Malaysia is seeking a Safety & Compliance Team Leader to oversee regulatory and safety oversight at its new facility. This role ensures CAAM Part 145, EASA, UK CAA, and FAA Part 145 approvals are met, working with the UK team to align practices globally.

The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement, manage audits and records, and lead personnel qualification processes to maintain robust safety standards in the region.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in aviation compliance and safety.
• Proven track record with audits and regulatory approvals.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a multi-regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the Compliance and Safety Management System at the Malaysia facility.
• Perform safety investigations.
• Perform audits to ensure full compliance with CAAM Part 145, EASA Part 145, UK CAA Part 145 and FAA Part 145.
• Manage internal audit programs and prepare for external audits by regulatory authorities and customers.
• Assist in the coordination of the application and approval process for maintenance personnel authorizations.
• Maintain records of personnel qualifications, licenses, and renewals with reminders.
• Maintain regulatory documentation, manuals, and compliance records.
• Monitor regulatory developments and update procedures accordingly.
• Conduct root cause analysis and manage corrective/preventive actions.
• Provide guidance and training to operational teams on compliance and safety.
• Act as local point of contact for regulatory bodies and customers.
• Collaborate with UK Safety & Compliance team for global alignment.
