Job summary

The Business Development Manager, Malaysia will drive market awareness and develop relationships with consultants, end users and channel partners for Q-SYS solutions in Malaysia. You will collaborate with regional sales leadership to grow opportunities and support market development initiatives.

You should have 3–5 years in business development or sales within AV/tech, a relevant degree, and a strong local network to expand Q-SYS adoption across key market segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, marketing, electronics or related field.
• 3–5 years in business development, sales or solution selling in AV/tech.
• Proven ability to build relationships with consultants, end users, channel partners.
• Solid understanding of the sales process: discovery, qualification, positioning, closing.
• Experience across corporate, higher education, hospitality or related segments.
• Local Malaysia market network is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Increase awareness and adoption of Q-SYS in Malaysia.
• Engage AV consultants, customers, channel partners and stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key segments.
• Promote Q-SYS via meetings, events, training and networking.
• Provide product information to support evaluation and specification.
• Collaborate with regional sales and distribution partners.
• Maintain market intelligence and customer insights.
• Maintain accurate CRM records.
