Job summary

DOUBLE HAPPINESS ASIA FOODS (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production and packaging lines in a food manufacturing setting. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and sensor issues and work with QA/QC to resolve machine-related problems.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, a related certificate/diploma, and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant maintenance/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with production or packaging machinery is an advantage.
• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• PLC/sensor knowledge is an added advantage.
• Responsive, hardworking, positive attitude and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of production and packaging machinery
• Carry out preventive maintenance to minimise machine breakdown and production downtime
• Troubleshoot basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and sensor-related issues
• Maintain production and packaging equipment such as retort, filling, sealing, packing, labelling, conveyor, pumps and other factory equipment
• Record machine breakdowns, repairs and preventive maintenance activities
• Work closely with Production and QA/QC to resolve machine-related issues
• Ensure maintenance work follows company GMP, HACCP, food safety, hygiene and Halal requirements
• Ensure tools and work areas are properly cleaned and controlled after maintenance
• Assist external technicians/vendors when required
• Perform other maintenance duties assigned by Management

About you
