Job summary

C.I. FOOD SDN BHD in Plentong, Johor Bahru is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of factory machinery, food processing and packaging equipment. You will respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure smooth production operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in factory or manufacturing equipment maintenance.
• Basic knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience in food manufacturing, refrigeration or Cold Room systems is an advantage.
• Able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of factory machinery, food processing and packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical breakdowns to minimise production downtime
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections
• Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns and support smooth production operations
• Attend to general factory facility maintenance, including electrical wiring, water piping, air compressors and related equipment
• Assist with refrigeration and Cold Room maintenance when required
• Maintain proper maintenance and repair records
• Maintain cleanliness during maintenance work and comply with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements
