Job summary

HID Global in Kulai, Malaysia, is seeking a Technician II to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment following safety and PM systems. You will collaborate with Maintenance Engineers and QA to keep lines running and achieve One Time Delivery targets.

The role requires a Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Manufacturing Engineering, 2–3 years in manufacturing maintenance, and knowledge of PLC, CMMS, and OEE tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2–3 years in maintenance in manufacturing; fresh entrants welcome.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance on mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic components.
• Experience with PLC, CMMS and OEE tools is advantageous.
• Willing to work long hours to minimize production disruptions.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup and conversions per product/process requirements.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and ensure quality and productivity.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and update records.
• Work with engineering, QA, and production to meet delivery goals.
• Ensure environmental, safety, and housekeeping standards.
