Job summary

HID Global is seeking a Technician II in Kulai, Malaysia to support maintenance of production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime. The role requires a Diploma/Mechatronics background and familiarity with PLC, CMMS and OEE tools.

You will work with Engineering, QA and Production teams to improve equipment reliability, quality and throughput while ensuring safety and environmental compliance in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2–3 years in maintenance in a manufacturing environment; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Experience with PLC, CMMS and OEE tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and update records (PM, CMMS, ISO).
• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and ensure uptime.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA and Production to optimize yield.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment and comply with environmental controls.
