Position Summary:

Manufacturing engineer Technician assigned to carry out equipment performance improvement, drive OEE, reduce downtime, and support equipment upgrades. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, machine uptime monitoring, improvement projects, new equipment setup, and supporting new product transfers while ensuring equipment meets production and future technology needs.

What You Will Do:

Perform routine maintenance for example calibration, set-up, initialization, machine conversion in specific areas.

Perform PM (Preventive Maintenance) & 6S

Familiarize and capable to complete (checklist) for all process checklist and MBO/MIB, EMS safety check.

Perform machine repair and verify functionality of modules.

Repair major equipment faults and verify functionality of modules.

Ensure and build in safety ergonomics factor into existing equipment.

Ensure machine downtime <5% for every shift. Alert and updated with all machine shiftly performances and ability in EMS and send out shift report.

Familiarize with process equipment and basic machine operation for all process.

Full participation in improving Product/Process Yields, Safety, Quality and Environment & Equipment.

Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.

Drive OEE activities plant wide.

Upgrade and redesign equipment to reduce downtime, improve throughput, reliability and mitigate risk capacities.

Implement tool and die strategies to maximize tool life, reduce cost and enhance yields.

Define equipment strategies to reduce cost of ownership and ensure equipment capabilities support future technologies.

Participate in DFMEAs and ensure new equipment performs to process specifications and have ease of maintainability.

Develop training programs to improve technical proficiency of AEs and equipment engineers..

Participate in transferring new products from R&D or other manufacturing sites as a project leader or member.

Leads a team of engineers and technician that keep machines up and running and operate to equipment and production specifications.

Develops and implements a rigorous preventive maintenance system.

Actively measures and analyzes machine up-time and overall equipment efficiency.

Initiate, lead and executes improvement projects that reduces cost of equipment ownership and equipment performance.

Responsible for new equipment purchases, installation and buy-off. Supports qualification in close cooperation with engineering.

Develop equipment strategies to ensure equipment capabilities support product technology roadmap.

Develop a operating budget.

Develop strategies that attract and retain good equipment personal.

Build up an organization that supports the sales growth.

Mitigate risk capacity and capability bottleneck

What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):

Min 5 years of working experience in the related field.

Able to communicate and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Able to work under pressure, multi-tasking, fast learner to carry out the scope of the work
