Job summary

7-Eleven Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across multiple retail sites in Malaysia, including refrigeration systems. You will travel within the managed area, own a motorcycle, and ensure timely updates in the CMMS with all required documentation.

Responsibilities include completing PM/CM tasks as per SLA, avoiding shortcuts, and contributing to cost control and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

At least 3-5 years working experiences as maintenance technician.
Travel within the managed area to perform the tasks.
Own motorcycle.
Experience working in retail industry with multiple sites.
Experience in refrigeration system such as air-conditioning.
Must have a valid GDL license (first-time application sponsored by the company).

Responsibilities

Complete preventive maintenance (PM) according to planned schedule.
Ensure equipment back to operations and signed off by store staff.
Update PM/CMMS completion with required documentation.
Escalate to BMC if challenges to complete PM timely.
Complete corrective maintenance (CM) within SLA.
Maintain and manage spare parts within budget; control overtime costs.
Update CMMS with work completion and remarks; use WIP when needed.
Carry out ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned by superior.

Job description

Responsible to complete all preventive maintenance (PM) according to planned schedule in a most efficient way

Responsible to ensure equipment are back to operations and signed off by store staff before signed off the PM work

To ensure preventive maintenance are carried out in accordance to standard set and trained by equipment manufacturer

Responsible to update PM completion timely in the CMMS system upon work completion with all required documentation

Escalate to BMC if face challenges to complete PM timely without any hesitation

Schedule completion for Preventive Maintenance

Responsible to complete all corrective maintenance (CM) work within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA)

To ensure repair works are carried out in accordance to standard set and trained by equipment manufacturer and at all time NOT TO take short cuts

Responsible to update CM completion timely in the CMMS system upon work completion with all required documentation. In the event work not able to be completed, job status should be updated as "work in progress (WIP) with appropriate remarks and documentations

Escalate to BMC if face challenges to complete repair work timely without any hesitation

Accountable to ensure all maintenance works including spare parts are managed within the approved / allocated budget

Accountable to manage overtime cost for the in-house technician within allocated budget

To perform cost analysis using reports/KPI tools from CMMS system and come up with improvement plans

Site condition assessment

Responsible to maintain and upkeep company vehicle and tools provided for the purpose to carry out work

Responsible to ensure spare parts are taken care properly, utilized efficiently and update usage into CMMS system timely

Carry out other ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned by superior

Requirements
