Job summary

The Chicken Rice Shop (TCRS) is seeking a Technician to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment and facilities across our outlets to ensure smooth daily operations. You will perform general maintenance and repair work at outlets requiring technical assistance, inspecting kitchen equipment, appliances and facilities.

Candidates with SPM/SKM or a certificate in Electrical or Building Maintenance are encouraged to apply. Travel to outlets is required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical and building maintenance systems.
• Good practical skills in using hand tools and troubleshooting common equipment issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with outlet staff and the Facilities team.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a responsible and proactive attitude.
• Candidates with SPM, Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM), or a certificate in Electrical, Building Maintenance or a related field are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in kitchen equipment maintenance is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment across outlets to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform general maintenance and repair work at outlets requiring technical assistance.
• Inspect, maintain and repair kitchen equipment, appliances and facilities.
• Use hand tools and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Identify maintenance issues and carry out timely repairs to minimize operational disruptions.
• Ensure maintenance work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures and best practices.
