Job summary

LEE FAH MEE SENDIRIAN BERHAD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery. You will work with the Production Department to minimise downtime, ensure safety, and maintain equipment reliability.

The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, reading diagrams, and adhering to maintenance schedules. The ideal candidate has a technical qualification and 1–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or factory

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics or related technical field.
• 1–3 years of relevant factory/maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Hands-on and technically minded with strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment.
• Conduct daily machine checks to ensure safe operation.
• Identify abnormal machine conditions and diagnose root causes.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Replace worn components (bearings, belts, gears, sensors, motors, valves, etc.).
• Provide technical support to ensure smooth production operations.
• Record maintenance activities and follow the approved maintenance plan.
