Job summary

Rapid Growth Technology Sdn. Bhd. in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and sensor-related issues and assist with machine setup and process optimization. The role requires knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance, ability to read diagrams, and good problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance.
• Able to read electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with pneumatic systems, sensors, motors and inverters.
• Able to use measuring instruments such as multimeter and clamp meter.
• Basic welding and fabrication knowledge is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and sensor-related issues.
• Attend machine breakdowns and restore operation within targeted response time.
• Conduct machine inspection and maintain maintenance records.
• Install, modify and improve machine components and automation systems.
• Support production team during machine setup, changeover and process optimization.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping of maintenance tools, spare parts and work area.
• Assist engineers in machine improvement projects and new equipment installation.
