Job summary

Asiamost Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of AME Elite Consortium Berhad, seeks a Maintenance Technician (Chargeman PW2, PW4, A0, A1 & A4) to maintain HVAC, electrical, and fire safety systems in industrial facilities.

You will ensure safety compliance, perform preventive maintenance, and support calibration, documentation, and system monitoring across BAS/BMS/EMS. Based in Senai, Johor, with 2–3 years' experience in facilities and a Chargeman certificate as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in electrical & electronics engineering.
• 2–3 years experience with facilities systems or manufacturing environments.
• 2–3 years experience supervising facilities in high-volume production.
• Chargeman certificate is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety rules, quality policies, and employee guidelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergent repairs for HVAC, electrical, and facility systems; coordinate with contractors.
• Assist with safety documentation such as deviations, investigation reports, PM planners, calibration planners, and SOPs.
• Monitor and control building systems (BAS/BMS/EMS) and ensure proper operation of electrical equipment and panels.
• Respond to energy commission/authorities when required; support EHSS team and drills.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure compliance with safety rules, quality policies, and employee guidelines.
• Carry out, Assist, and plan preventative maintenance, and emergent repairs for facilities system (HVAC system and operations-air conditioning, heating and refrigeration units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, Biosafety cabinet, Pass box (dynamic & static), LAF, Fume hood, Cold room (chiller & freezer), refrigeration system,all related to Air condition work, Fire Fighting System, All Electrical Equipment, BMS & EMS System and etc.
• Good knowledge of technical work and Hand on experience in troubleshooting and analyzing problems.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical documentation work such as Deviation, CCR, Investigation report, preparing protocol, preparing PM Planner, Calibration Planner, Calibration master list, Prepare SOP, Prepare monitoring logbook, checklist for PPM, and other related document for the Facilities system.
• Good knowledge of monitoring and controlling systems such as BAS (building Automation system), BMS (Building management system), Control system, and EMS (Environmental monitoring system).
• Knowledge of safety permits and job hazard analyses (JHAs) and Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control. (HIRARC) to ensure the safe execution of projects or maintenance activities and assist the EHSS team.
• Assist and involve in any drill exercise such as Fire drill, Emergency response. etc
• Trained in-house technicians and contractors as required.
• Good knowledge of electrical works.
• Manage calibration activity to all measuring and monitoring equipment of the HVAC system , All Fire Fighting System, All Electrical Equipment, All BMS & EMS System and etc).
• Response to Energy Commission (ST) authority when required.
• Follow up on electrical equipment or system calibration and assist the contractors.
• Follow up on reports, and electrical room or plant room activities without fail.
• Upkeep all electrical panels and plant room.
• Assist 33kV chargeman during electrical activities on-site.
• Assist 33kV Visiting Chargeman on-site. Closely follow up on his findings and reports.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in electrical & electronics engineering, or equivalent background.
• 2-3 Years of experience with Facilities systems or relevant experience from manufacturing -PCBA, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and cleanroom industry.
• 2-3 Years of experience supervising or leading facilities division in a high-volume production environment.
• Chargeman certificate is an advantage.
• Process oriented and uses data to make decisions.
• Ability to fulfill job responsibilities in a fast-paced/high-volume production environment.
• Committed to job roles without hesitation.
• Strong PC and troubleshooting skills.
• Extensive knowledge of facility systems/equipment, electronic development, and PCBA production, functionality, and interaction.
• Proficient in computer skills, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
