Job summary

Idaman Putrajaya Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Engineering team in maintaining hotel facilities and building systems. The role covers routine maintenance, inspections, and timely response to requests to keep the property safe and comfortable for guests and staff.

The ideal candidate holds a related qualification, can work flexible hours, and is eager to learn while gaining hands-on experience in hotel engineering operations and energy conservation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Facilities management qualification required.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC systems is an advantage.

Maintenance Technician (6 month contract)

The Maintenance Technician supports the Engineering team in maintaining the hotel's facilities, equipment, and building systems. This role assists with routine maintenance activities to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance and repair work throughout the hotel.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Conduct facility and equipment inspections and report any issues.
• Respond to maintenance requests from hotel departments.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Support energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and hotel standards.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC systems is an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
