Kaya Rasa Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Penang to assist engineers with daily and yearly maintenance activities across electrical and mechanical systems.

You will oversee all mechanical and electrical equipment and installations, ensuring everything operates according to the engineering plan. The role requires hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance, knowledge of high voltage equipment operation, and familiarity with GMP practices and workplace

Qualificações

• Experience maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiar with high voltage facility equipment operation.
• Knowledge of electrical installations and GMP housekeeping.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain electrical supply, reticulation, and equipment.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the facility, electrical installation, and monitoring of high voltage equipment's performance.
• Oversee production equipment, maintenance, and contractor work arrangements.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults and provide solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and GMP-related housekeeping.

Assist the engineer with daily and yearly maintenance activities in facilities, especially on electrical and mechanical work. Oversee all mechanical and electrical equipment and installation, and ensure all are in good and proper working order based on the engineering plan.

Key responsibilities

Maintain the building's electrical supply and reticulation system, installations, and equipment

Manage day-to-day operations of the entire facility, electrical installation, and monitoring of high voltage facility equipment's performance

Oversee production equipment, maintenance, and contractor work arrangements

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical fault circuit/systems and provide recommendations to minimize recurrence or long-term solutions

Ensure all laws and regulations related to the electrical system and installation are complied with by the authority

Practice GMP's system in working and housekeeping at the workplace

Report to the superior for any abnormality or non-compliance action/activity

Perform any task assigned by the management

About you

Experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance activities

Knowledge of high voltage facility equipment operation and monitoring

Understanding of electrical systems, installations, and regulations

Familiarity with GMP systems and workplace housekeeping practices
