Job summary

ONE COMPLETE SOLUTION (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking an FM Technician to perform day-to-day maintenance, repair, and operational tasks across MEP systems in our facility.

You will handle preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and assist in operating building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection. The role requires a technical certificate and 1–3 years of hands-on experience with MEP systems, as well as strong teamwork and safety-consciousness.

Qualifications

• SPM/Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or related field.
• 1–3 years experience in facility maintenance or building maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Able to use basic hand and power tools.
• Good teamwork, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform hands-on maintenance tasks.
• General knowledge of MEP systems.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Safety-conscious and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine preventive maintenance for MEP systems (AC units, pumps, lighting, power points, plumbing fixtures, etc.).
• Respond to breakdowns, troubleshoot faults, and perform corrective repairs
• Conduct basic civil works (patching, painting, fixing fittings and fixtures)
• Check and maintain equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, electrical panels, and fire protection systems (basic level)
• Perform daily inspections and rounds on building systems
• Report defects, equipment abnormalities, and follow up on outstanding issues
• Assist in operating building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems when required
• Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) processes
• Update work orders in CMMS or manual logbooks
• Provide support to staff, tenants, or building users on facility-related requests

Job description

The FM Technician is responsible for performing day-to-day maintenance, repair, and operational tasks within the facility. This includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), civil, and general building services support. The role ensures building systems run safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

Carry out routine preventive maintenance for MEP systems (AC units, pumps, lighting, power points, plumbing fixtures, etc.)
