Job summary

CT Microelectronics (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support Front-end, Back-end, and test equipment operations. You will perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability and productivity.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required with 0–3 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance. You should be detail-oriented, with good computer literacy; experience with ASM and Kaijo wire bonding equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
0–3 years in mechanical maintenance or related field.
Detail-oriented, responsible and hardworking.
Competent with computer software.
Experience in ASM and Kaijo wire bonding equipment maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair and recover equipment to minimize downtime.
Perform routine and scheduled maintenance, monitor life of components and maintain records.
Improve mechanisms, tooling, automation and error-proofing for efficiency and stability.
Manage spare parts, safety stock, consumables and maintenance costs.
Monitor OEE, UPH, downtime and utilization to boost productivity and capacity.
Set up, adjust, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of molding, deflashing and singulation equipment.
Set up, adjust, maintenance, and repair of die bonding, wire bonding and dispensing equipment.
Set up, adjustment and preventive maintenance of test handler equipment.

Job description

This role involves equipment repair, maintenance, and continuous improvement across front-end, back-end, and test equipment operations. You will perform troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance, manage spare parts and consumables, monitor equipment efficiency and capacity, and implement improvements to enhance operational stability and productivity.

Key responsibilities

Perform equipment troubleshooting, repair, and recovery to minimize downtime

Perform routine and scheduled maintenance, monitor component life, and maintain equipment inspection records

Improve equipment mechanisms, tooling, automation, and error-proofing to enhance efficiency and stability

Manage spare parts, safety stock, consumable life, and maintenance costs to reduce abnormal consumption

Monitor OEE, UPH, equipment downtime, and utilization to improve productivity and capacity

Perform setup, adjustment, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of molding, deflashing, and singulation equipment

Perform setup, adjustment, maintenance, and repair of die bonding, wire bonding, and dispensing equipment

Perform setup, adjustment, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of test handler equipment
