Job summary

Winchester Interconnect (M) is seeking a maintenance technician to handle machine and tool setups, preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs across manufacturing equipment in Penang. The role requires a technical qualification and proficiency in Excel, with shift-based work expected. Training and growth opportunities may be provided.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical/electrical/mechatronics background and be able to work in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Minimum SPM, Certificate and Diploma in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics), or equivalent qualification.
• Must be flexible to work on a shift-based schedule.

Responsibilities

• All machines and hand tools setup such as cutting, stripping, clamping, crimping & molding machine.
• Total preventive maintenance for all machines and hand tools.
• Internal and external calibration for tooling and equipment.
• Repair broken tooling and equipment.
• Chemical control
• ESD contract
