Job summary

WhiteCrow Research is assisting a Malaysia-based client in seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production equipment through predictive and preventative maintenance, fault analysis and repairs. You will read blueprints and manuals, troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical systems, and assist in assembling new equipment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in manufacturing, strong communication, the ability to work independently, and the physical capability to lift 25 kg and

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must have good or corrected eyesight to ensure quality of work.

Responsibilities

• Performing evaluations and/or analyzing unique problems that are new to equipment.
• Performing predictive maintenance by analyzing routine failures and determining adjustments and repairs that need to be made.
• Performing training as needed to Lower level Maintenance Techs on troubleshooting and repair techniques utilized with equipment
• Performing specified preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent equipment downtime.
• Monitoring equipment operations to ensure proper usage.
• Constructing and/or assembling new equipment
• Troubleshooting equipment failures and repair as needed
• Performing specified preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent equipment downtime
• Working from blueprints, manuals, sketches and verbal instructions.
• Helping repairing on hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical systems.
• Performing other duties as assigned or necessary to meet business conditions or changes.
• Adhering to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for…

• Min 1-3 years experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to work independently
• Must have good or corrected eyesight to insure quality of work
• Ability to lift and carry 25 kg frequently
• Ability to crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work at various heights
• Good basic math skills
• Good mechanical aptitude, and troubleshooting ability
