Job Responsibilities
- Adheres to Integer Core Value and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct preventive maintenance per schedule for all equipment assigned, to reduce downtime and prevent failures.
- Perform unscheduled servicing of equipment after a problem is discovered.
- Employ the strategies of fiveS in order to maintain an efficient work area, clean, well ordered and maintaining the right types and amounts of spare parts.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance issues on all equipment.
- Follow the proper methods and procedures for the handling of non-hazardous waste in the plant and remove waste from the plant.
- Deal with outside contractors for routine maintenance items/service contracts when necessary.
- Ensure cleaning schedules are adhered per maintenance items/ service contracts when necessary.
- Keep work area clean.
- Performs other duties as required.
Education & Experience
Minimum Education
- At least a Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
Minimum Experience
- At least 3 years in a Maintenance Technician position at a manufacturing facility, responsible for maintaining equipment and systems.
Knowledge & Skills
Special Skills
- Able to use all the tools necessary to conduct the work involved with maintaining company equipment and building system.
- Able to use the computer, specifically spreadsheets, word processing and database programs as well as experience with PM systems.
Special Knowledge
- Able to give and follow instructions, both written and verbal.
- Effectively communicate with all levels of employees, as well as outside contractors.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities with many time constraints.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, bend and twist.
- Ability to spend time using your hand to handle, control, reach or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Will spend extended periods of time standing and walking throughout the duties.
