Job summary

RJD Machinery SDN. BHD. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team at a major industrial facility in Chemor. You will execute scheduled preventive maintenance under the Head Maintenance Engineer's guidance, focusing on HVAC servicing and mechanical upkeep.

The role emphasizes safety, timely task completion, and adherence to schedules. Malaysian Special Skills Certificate and 1 year HVAC service experience are preferred, with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• HVAC/Air conditioning servicing preferred.
• Malaysian Special Skills Certificate preferred.
• 1 year HVAC service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform air-conditioning servicing on VRF systems and split units, including coil flushing and drainage checks.
• Assist with mechanical maintenance of AHUs, MAUs and centrifugal chillers under supervision.
• Conduct routine checks, take readings, clean filters and grease bearings as required.
• Support pump servicing for condenser and chilled water pumps and maintain cleanliness.
• Follow work schedules and head engineer instructions to meet timelines.

RJD Machinery is looking for Maintenance Technicians to join our on-site team at a major industrial facility in Chemor. In this role, you will work directly under the supervision and instruction of our Head Maintenance Engineer to execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Air-Conditioning Servicing: Perform normal and deep chemical servicing on Daikin VRF systems and Split Units, including coil flushing, blower wheel cleaning, and clearing condensate drainage pipes.
• Mechanical Maintenance: Assist the Head Engineer in servicing heavy industrial equipment such as Central-Station Air Handling Units (AHUs), Make-Up Air Units (MAUs), and centrifugal chillers.
• Routine Checks: Conduct basic operational checks, take technical readings, wash reusable air filters, and perform motor bearing re-greasing.
• Pump Servicing: Assist with preventive maintenance on condenser and chilled water pumps, including exterior cleaning and clearing Y-strainer baskets.
• Team Support: Strictly follow work schedules, safety guidelines, and direct instructions from the Head Engineer to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and within the agreed timeline.
