Job summary

Taiace Energy Services Sdn. Bhd. seeks a dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team in Malaysia. You will perform preventive maintenance, service and repair air conditioning systems at customer sites, and ensure safe, efficient operation of HVAC equipment.

You should have a qualification in HVAC/R or related field, with at least 1 year of service experience; graduates with relevant training are welcome. Valid Class D driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, HVAC or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience servicing air conditioning systems; fresh graduates with relevant training encouraged.
• Knowledge of split, cassette, ducted, VRF/VRV and package units is advantageous.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance and servicing at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot, repair or replace faulty air conditioning components.
• Conduct routine inspections for efficiency and safety.
• Attend site breakdowns and respond promptly to service requests.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and safety regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment and service vehicles.
• Provide professional customer service and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance and servicing of air conditioning systems at customer sites.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of faulty air conditioning components.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Attend site breakdowns and respond promptly to service requests.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and recommendations after each site visit.
• Ensure all work complies with company and client SOPs and safety regulations.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good condition.
• Provide professional customer service and technical support to clients.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, HVAC, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in servicing and maintaining air conditioning systems. Fresh graduates with relevant technical training are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of split units, cassette units, ducted systems, VRF/VRV systems, and package units is an advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues independently.
• Possess a valid Malaysian Class D driving licence.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using HVAC servicing tools and testing instruments.
• Knowledge of refrigerant handling and air conditioning installation.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring and control systems.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and documentation.
