Job summary

Nilai Springs Resort Sdn Bhd in Nilai invites an Engineering/Maintenance Supervisor to lead electrical and general mechanical works across the hotel. You will supervise associates, plan preventive maintenance with the Director Maintenance Service, and ensure safety and efficiency.

You will read electrical drawings, manage spare parts, schedule shifts, and document activities to keep building systems reliable with minimal guest disruption. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, protective devices, control circuits, and building systems.
• Able to read electrical drawings and interpret technical documentation.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Able to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in building facilities, hotel, or industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the planning and execution of electrical and general mechanical works carried out by associates.
• Assists the Director Maintenance Service in the development, planning and implementation of a preventive maintenance programme.
• Controls over all personnel in the department and manages work crews on their day to day operation.
• Plans the departmental duty roster for the approval of the Chief Engineer prior to implementation.
• Coordinates and ensures all work is carried out efficiently to minimise any inconveniences to guest or hotel operations and takes corrective action when necessary.
