Job summary

Edgenta FIRST Sdn Bhd in Negeri Sembilan seeks a site-based maintenance supervisor to oversee routine maintenance scope, plan with the Section Manager, and supervise subcontractors ensuring smooth operations.

The role requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering, 1-3 years in construction/maintenance (highway/road, building, bridge), and knowledge of MMA. You will prepare progress reports, enforce OSHA on site, and respond to emergencies as directed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in the construction or maintenance industry (highway/road maintenance, building, and/or bridge).
• Knowledgeable in MMA (Maintenance Management Agreement).

Responsibilities

• Administer the scope of work for routine maintenance as directed by the Section Manager (SM).
• Assist in planning, organizing, and administering the section’s staff and subcontractors to ensure smooth maintenance operations.
• Supervise, evaluate, and verify all subcontract works carried out on-site.
• Manage and verify repair and replacement works by subcontractors.
• Verify work programs on routine maintenance submitted by subcontractors before client submission/approval.
• Prepare and present daily progress reports and weekly subcontractors’ performance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements on site.
• Undertake related duties as assigned by superiors.
• Act on emergency work requests by SM and Regional Manager (RH).
• Be on standby for any potential section incidents.
