Job summary

Care Luxury Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor for its TROVE Hotel in Johor Bahru. You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining hotel equipment while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Your role will involve addressing guest complaints promptly and coordinating with technicians to uphold hotel standards.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to build relationships with both coworkers and guests, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain various equipment and materials, replace electronics, paint, clean, and perform wiring work.
• Perform regular maintenance on electronics such as refrigerators, television sets, and air conditioners.
• Respond to and resolve guest complaints in a timely manner, and fulfil work orders when issues cannot be resolved.
• Ensure safety equipment (fire alarm, fire extinguisher, etc.) are in place and operational.
• Refurbish chairs, tables, doors, windows, and counters to extend their lifespan.
• Clean and maintain parking lot, garden or landscaping, swimming pool and other grounds.
• Be on call 24/7 for emergencies to address guest grievances.
• Assist HR personnel in inspecting staff hostels when needed.
• Complete daily rounds, check basic hotel accommodations, and report any problems.
• Coordinate technicians I and II for all project facilities.
• For senior technicians, ensure air conditioning systems are properly conditioned at all times.
• Attend meetings when the maintenance manager or officer is not present at the hotel.
