Job summary

Outspan Malaysia is seeking a Stores/Inventory Clerk to manage stock, receive deliveries, and ensure timely dispatch to production.

You will maintain stock ledgers, perform weekly stock takes, and support GMP, 5S, and safety in the warehouse, while keeping stores clean and secure in Gelang Patah, Johor.

Applicants should have a Certificate in Engineering and at least two years' experience in food manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years related manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Food Manufacturing products.

Responsibilities

• Record deliveries and stock issues daily in ledgers.
• Match goods received with supplier delivery notes.
• Unload and receive goods from suppliers.
• Dispatch goods to stores immediately as needed.
• Distribute goods to Engineering and production per stores requests.
• Weekly requisitioning to maintain stock levels.
• Enter all material movements into the computer weekly.
• Stock take at scheduled times by management.
• Ensure stores are secure, clean and safe at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
• Adhere to safety, 5S and GMP standards.

Job description

Record accurately deliveries and departmental issues in the stock ledgers and balance daily to the standard required.

Match goods received with delivery notes from suppliers.

Unload and receive goods from suppliers.

Ensure that all goods are immediately dispatched to store for which they are intended and that no goods are left unsecured or unsupervised on the receiving area.

Distribute goods to the Engineering Department employees and production personnel against stores request.

Weekly requisitioning of materials required to maintain stock level.

Enter all materials in and out of stores into the computer on a weekly basis.

Stock taking to be completed at a given time by the hotel management.

Ensure proper security is adhered at all time.

Ensure stores are kept clean and tidy at all times.

Any other duties as required and assigned by the Management.

Ensure safety , 5S , and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Qualification & Skill Requirements:

• A Certificate’s in Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years related manufacturing experience.
