Job summary

Outspan Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Stores/Stock Keeper to record deliveries, match receipts to notes, unload goods, and dispatch items to the engineering and production teams in a busy manufacturing facility in Johor.

The role requires at least 2 years in manufacturing, an engineering certificate, and experience with food manufacturing processes. You will maintain stock ledgers, perform weekly stock takes, and ensure 5S and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years related manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Food Manufacturing products.
• Experienced in engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Record deliveries and departmental issues in stock ledgers and balance daily.
• Match goods received with delivery notes from suppliers.
• Unload and receive goods from suppliers.
• Ensure all goods are dispatched to stores immediately and not left unsecured.
• Distribute goods to Engineering and production teams against stores requests.
• Weekly requisitioning of materials to maintain stock levels.
• Enter materials in and out of stores in the computer weekly.
• Complete stock takes at the specified time by management.
• Ensure stores are secure, clean and tidy at all times.
• Adhere to safety, 5S, and GMP requirements.

Job description

Record accurately deliveries and departmental issues in the stock ledgers and balance daily to the standard required.

Match goods received with delivery notes from suppliers.

Unload and receive goods from suppliers.

Ensure that all goods are immediately dispatched to store for which they are intended and that no goods are left unsecured or unsupervised on the receiving area.

Distribute goods to the Engineering Department employees and production personnel against stores request.

Weekly requisitioning of materials required to maintain stock level.

Enter all materials in and out of stores into the computer on a weekly basis.

Stock taking to be completed at a given time by the hotel management.

Ensure proper security is adhered at all time.

Ensure stores are kept clean and tidy at all times.

Any other duties as required and assigned by the Management.

Ensure safety , 5S , and Good Manufacturing Practices.

A Certificate’s in Engineering.

Minimum 2 years related manufacturing experience.
