Job summary

Stream Environment Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance & Service Assistant Technician to support maintenance and service operations for Automated Waste Collection Systems.

You will assist technicians and engineers, inspect equipment, report faults, and perform servicing per SOPs. Fresh graduates are welcome; basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and Bahasa Malaysia communication are required. Weekend and after-hours work may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Certificate or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of relevant technical or maintenance experience. Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to work weekends, public holidays and after office hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Technicians, Engineers and Managers in general maintenance, servicing and repair works.
• Assist in inspecting and monitoring equipment and systems to ensure they are properly maintained and operating efficiently.
• Report equipment faults, issues and observations to the Manager, Assistant Manager, Engineer or Maintenance & Service Technician.
• Assist with cleaning and housekeeping activities at work sites.
• Assist with waste-handling and other operational tasks as required.
• Perform maintenance and servicing activities in accordance with company and customer SOPs.
