Job summary

Elitez Pte Ltd in Selangor is seeking a Manager in the Maintenance Department to lead process improvements and automation initiatives for gloves production, ensuring quality and efficiency. You will oversee machine maintenance, preventive maintenance plans, spare parts acquisition, and projects related to new or existing factory equipment, while driving cost savings.

The role requires a degree in a related field, strong negotiation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with production teams

• Degree in related field or equivalent from reputable universities.
• Results oriented with strong follow up and good negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and implement process improvement and automation to enhance gloves production to meet customer requirements.
• Implement and manage machine maintenance and repair procedures to improve maintenance efficiency.
• Plan, implement and manage down line schedule and preventive maintenance programs to maximize resources utilization and minimize machine downtime.
• Plan and manage acquisition of spare parts and other equipment to ensure smooth running of maintenance jobs.
• Manage and monitor projects of new or existing factory construction work and equipment commissioning.
• Monitor cost of direct and indirect materials for maintenance jobs and initiate cost saving programs.
• Reorganize or restructure Maintenance departments to improve efficiency, effectiveness and control.
• Implement good housekeeping concept for the production plant and ensure cleanliness in factory compound.
• Work with production team to recommend, implement and monitor optimum level of machine parameters to maximize quality and productivity.
• Perform manpower planning, recruitment and training for the maintenance department.
