Jora Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the overall maintenance operations across its Subang and Kajang factories in Malaysia. You will be responsible for equipment reliability, minimizing downtime and driving preventive and predictive maintenance while ensuring regulatory and GMP compliance.

As Maintenance Manager, you will lead the overall maintenance operations across our Subang and Kajang factories, ensuring machinery, utilities and facilities operate safely, reliably and efficiently.
You will be responsible for strengthening equipment reliability, minimizing downtime and driving preventive and predictive maintenance, while ensuring compliance with regulatory, ISO and GMP requirements. The role also oversees maintenance costs, contractors, equipment projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working closely with Factory Heads and cross-functional teams, you will provide technical leadership and develop a high-performing maintenance team to support operational excellence, capacity growth and the long-term performance of our manufacturing operations.
Manage all maintenance activities of the factories (Subang & Kajang) and overall buildings, ensuring machinery, utilities and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
Develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans and monitor execution.
Lead maintenance technicians and contractors to ensure timely breakdown response and repairs.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and GMP requirements.
Monitor equipment performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
Manage maintenance budget, spare parts inventory and cost control activities.
Coordinate equipment installation, modification and commissioning projects.
Work closely with Production, Warehouse, QC, Engineering and other departments.
Ensure statutory inspections and regulatory compliance for machinery, utilities, fire protection and safety systems.
Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implements corrective actions.
Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel.
Support annual budgeting, capacity expansion and capital expenditure planning.
Advises the Factory Heads and other departments on matters relating to the efficient operation of the factory.
