Job summary

Ambition is seeking a Maintenance Manager to own maintenance operations in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. You will lead a skilled team, drive preventive and corrective maintenance, and align CMMS schedules with production needs to reduce downtime.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering and at least 10 years of technical experience, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Total of 10 years of technical experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, automation systems, and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team of engineers and technicians, embedding accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee all preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and utility systems.
• Develop and manage maintenance schedules using a CMMS aligned with production demands to minimise disruption.
• Drive asset reliability and uptime through structured planning, inspections, and best-practice standards.
• Manage contractor engagements, spare parts inventory, and the maintenance budget with a focus on cost efficiency.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements across all activities.

• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, automation systems, and maintenance management practices
• Proven experience in preventive maintenance planning and equipment reliability management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
