Job summary

Eggtech Manufacturing in Bandar Puncak Alam, Selangor is seeking a seasoned Factory Manager to lead and develop a team of 5 technical staff. The role requires a relevant degree and proven supervisory experience in a factory environment.

You will drive continuous improvement, ensure HACCP/HALAL compliance, oversee maintenance and safety, and collaborate with suppliers to keep production efficient. Shift and on-call work may be required during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electric and Electronic / Mechatronic.
• Proven managerial or supervisory experience in a factory.
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong self-discipline and reliability.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Efficient, organized, hardworking and a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to streamline factory operations.
• Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance of production machinery and facilities.
• Lead, supervise and develop a team of 5 Technical Officers, Engineers, and Technicians.
• Maintain CLIT/5S compliance.
• Good communication with suppliers.
• Respond to machine breakdowns and perform repairs during production.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment.
• Use hand tools, meters and handling equipment per safety regulations and HACCP standards.
• Adhere to workplace safety and HALAL standards.
• Attend internal and external audits for HACCP/FSSC/JKKP, HALAL, BOMBA & other compliance.
• Support outsourced contractors to improve production efficiency.
• Improve processes to achieve automation, energy saving, efficiency, reduce spoilage, reduce rejects.
• Shift and on-call work during peak season.
• Perform other tasks as deemed by management.

Responsibility

• Responding to all machines breakdowns - Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment to ensure smooth work operations.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties comply with Safety regulations, HACCP, requirements and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Adhered to all workplace safety and Food Safety, HALAL standard requirements.
• Attend internal and external audit in sustaining HACCP/FSSC/JKKP, HALAL, BOMBA & other Qualify-Related Compliance.
• Support in outsourced contractor to discover ways to improve the efficiency of production processes.
• Enhance process, machine and procedure to achieve:
  • Automation
  • Energy saving
  • Efficiency
  • Reduce spoilage
  • Reject.
• Shift and "on-call" work may require during production pick season.
• Perform other task deem necessary by management.
