Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to lead a team of technicians in Krubong, Melaka, supporting die attach, wire bond, cure oven and related automation.

You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and collaborate with production, process engineering and quality teams to improve OEE and MTBF while reducing downtime. This role offers growth within a global semiconductor leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic engineering.
• 3–8 years in semiconductor equipment maintenance.
• Experience with Die Attach, Wire Bond, Cure Oven, Junction Coat.
• Knowledge of TPM, PM, Predictive Maintenance, FMEA, RCA.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians to support maintenance objectives.
• Maintain high equipment uptime for FOL production equipment.
• Lead root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve OEE, MTBF and MTTR.
• Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing.
• Support new equipment installation and technology transfers.
• Manage spare parts, documentation, calibration and safety compliance.
• Lead equipment modification and automation projects.
• Mentor maintenance technicians to build a high performing team.
