Vishay Intertechnology in Melaka seeks a Senior Maintenance Engineer to lead technicians, ensure high uptime for EOL equipment, and implement preventive and predictive maintenance in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

You will collaborate with production, process engineering and quality teams, drive improvements in OEE and MTBF, and support new equipment installation and technology transfers while mentoring the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma of Engineering in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronic engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, preferably in End of Line processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, servo and automation systems.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment such as coupling, molding system, dejunk, trim & form cure oven, vision inspection or similar assembly equipment.
• Good understanding of TPM, preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance, FMEA, and RCA.
• Knowledge of OEE, MTBA, MTBF, MTTR, and continuous improvement tools such as Lean and Six Sigma.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and equipment documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced manufacturing environment; shift flexibility.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of technicians to support company objectives.
• Ensure high equipment uptime and availability for EOL production equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
• Develop, optimize and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance OEE, MTBF and MTTR.
• Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing to resolve issues.
• Support new equipment installation, qualifications, commissioning and technology transfers.
• Manage spare parts, maintenance documentation, calibration and safety/quality compliance.
• Lead equipment modification, cost reduction, automation and reliability projects.
• Mentor technicians to build a high-performing maintenance team.
