Job summary

Hiap Teck Venture Berhad (HTVB) is seeking a Maintenance Executive to oversee routine servicing, repairs, and inspections of the company’s commercial vehicle fleet. You will coordinate breakdown responses, manage external workshops and vendors, and ensure compliance with Malaysian regulations.

Your role includes inventory control and cost tracking to optimize fleet performance. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering or Logistics Management and a minimum

• Diploma or degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Logistics Management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing commercial vehicle fleets or working in an automotive workshop environment.
• Strong diagnostic knowledge of heavy vehicle diesel engines, pneumatic brakes, and automotive electrical systems.
• Familiarity with Malaysian transport laws, PUSPAKOM inspection standards, and JPJ requirements.
• Exceptional problem-solving under pressure and strong communication skills.

Fleet Maintenance: Schedule routine servicing, repairs, and inspections for the company’s commercial vehicles.

Breakdown Management: Coordinate immediate roadside assistance, towing services, and rapid-response repairs to minimize delivery delays.

Vendor Operations: Manage relationships with external workshops, spare parts suppliers, and tire vendors to ensure smooth operations.
