Job summary

Dermypack Plastic (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of all manufacturing equipment, utilities, facilities, and engineering projects.

You will drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, monitor performance, manage KPIs like OEE and maintenance costs, oversee spare parts, mentor staff, and guide projects from concept to commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime and manufacturing efficiency.
• Monitor equipment performance and analyze breakdown trends to reduce downtime.
• Establish maintenance KPIs, including OEE and maintenance cost control.
• Manage spare parts inventory and critical component availability.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex equipment and utility failures.
• Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians, engineers, and contractors.
• Establish training plans to improve technical competencies.
• Manage engineering projects from concept through commissioning and validation.
• Lead equipment installation, upgrades, automation initiatives, and process improvements.

Job description

The Maintenance & Engineering Manager is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of all manufacturing equipment, utilities, facilities, and engineering projects within Dermypack's operations. The role leads preventive and corrective maintenance activities, manages capital projects, drives equipment performance, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
