Bunge Loders Croklaan Oils Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a seasoned Maintenance Manager to lead planning, scheduling and execution of mechanical maintenance across the plant. You will drive reliability, minimize downtime and manage safety, quality and cost initiatives.
Responsibilities include PM/PdM programs, CMMS management (SAP), spare parts planning, RCA-driven improvements, and leadership of a high-performing maintenance team in collaboration with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams.
Responsible for leading, planning, organizing, handling emergent works, and directing all mechanical maintenance activities within the plant to ensure optimal equipment reliability, availability and performance. This role focuses on minimizing downtime, optimizing maintenance costs, and contributing continuous improvement initiatives, while strictly adhering to safety and quality standards.
Scope :
Lead the strategic development of Maintenance Planning, Scheduling & Execution, ensuring all resources management initiatives deliver best operational performance and support critical production metrics.
Lead complex & emergent mechanical troubleshooting for prompt resolution and minimal downtime, ensuring all maintenance activities strictly comply with safety and engineering standards.
Overseeing the implementation of Reliability Program, which includes preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) schedules, minimizing unplanned downtime and maximizing critical equipment lifespan.
Optimize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS - SAP) end-to-end process, ensuring data integrity for work order management, material reservation and leveraging technical data platforms for proactive maintenance scheduling.
Work closely with Maintenance planner to analyze and drive the spare parts inventory & supply chain, from the spare parts kitting process to optimizing material planning & purchase requisitions in SAP, ensuring cost-efficient procurement and rapid response for asset recovery.
Build, mentor and develop a high-performing maintenance team, strengthen team's expertise in resource management, technical troubleshooting, and continuous improvement mindset.
Drive continuous improvement through Root Cause Analysis (RCA), maintenance technologies and lean principles, consistently elevating operational efficiency and maintenance effectiveness.
Forge strategic Collaboration & Contractor Management, in partnerships with Production, Project Engineering and Supply Chain team, by ensuring seamless technical alignment and resource synchronization, especially in providing crucial planning and preparation support for plant shutdowns and turnarounds
Ensure technical compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal engineering specifications, proactively mitigating operational risks and preserving production integrity.
Support safety by ensuring all planned work adheres to established safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
Requirement :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering and 5+ years progressive industrial maintenance experience, including leadership.
Expertise in PM/PdM program management, maintenance planning, scheduling, and CMMS (SAP).
Strong mechanical engineering knowledge, advanced troubleshooting, and familiarity with industrial equipment.
Proven leadership and team development capabilities, fostering high-performing technical maintenance teams.
Familiar with safety regulations, compliance, and procurement management processes
