Job summary

PTS Resources Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks a Maintenance Engineer to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machinery and facility equipment, ensuring safety and reliability to support site goals.

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Instrumentation engineering is preferred; fresh graduates welcome with on-the-job training. The role involves preventive maintenance and responding to breakdowns while coordinating with teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferable Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, and/or Instrument.
• Fresh graduate or candidate with no experience are welcomed to apply. On job training provided.
• Experience in maintenance role is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical and mechanical.
• Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machinery and facility equipment.
• Ensure that industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably; plan and undertake scheduled maintenance.
• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance during service.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Use hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment to perform duties.
• Attend breakdown calls and troubleshoot issues, including 24/7 availability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Act as first point of contact with customers at job sites and establish good relationships.
