Job summary

Petron Malaysia is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to oversee the upkeep of terminal facilities, machinery and equipment at Westport Terminal. The candidate will develop preventive maintenance programs and lead a team to ensure safety, reliability and efficiency in daily operations.

With a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 5 years in terminal operations, you will apply mechanical and electrical expertise to resolve issues, coordinate with contractors, and maintain high standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years terminal operations experience in technical/SHE
• Mechanical & electrical inclination essential

Responsibilities

• Maintain terminal facilities, machinery and equipment for reliable operations.
• Develop and implement routine maintenance programs and process improvements.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance to meet safety and environmental standards.
• Lead maintenance team in troubleshooting and inspections; recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure work orders and permits are issued and executed safely by internal and external teams.

Responsibilities:

• Responsiblefor the maintenance of terminal facilities, machinery and equipment to ensure sustainable reliability in supporting the daily operations of the terminal.
• Develop and implement routine maintenance programs and process improvements regarding equipment reliability to achieve efficient operations with minimal unplanned downtime.
• Coordinate and execute all routine and preventive maintenance functions consistent with high operating standards regarding security, safety, health and environment protection requirements.
• Lead and guide the maintenance team in performing troubleshooting, conducting regular inspections and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure work orders and work permits are issued and executed timely, completely and safely by the maintenance team, third party maintenance contractors and service providers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of terminal operations experience in technical / SHE.
• Possess initiatives to resolve problems proactively.
• Must be meticulous on quality control checks permitting no relaxation on established procedures.
• Mechanical & electrical inclination are essential as candidate should be able to solve the numerous types of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment related as well as civil engineering issues.
• Intermediate knowledge of computer operations and its troubleshooting is part of job to ensure smooth operations.
• Good communication with business and organizational management/development skills and exhibits teamwork and team leadership skills.
• Willing to be based at Westport Terminal
