Job summary

Petron Malaysia is seeking a dynamic maintenance professional to lead aviation refueling vehicle and equipment maintenance at KLIA, Sepang. You will supervise contractors, plan preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced aviation environment.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in aviation maintenance, strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, and experience with SAP for parts and stock control.

Qualifications

• Experience in aircraft refueling, aviation operations, or related maintenance activities.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of aviation refuelling operations and safety standards.
• Experience with SAP or similar systems is an added advantage.
• Willing to be based at KLIA, Sepang.
• Valid RTD 'E' driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities for aviation refueling vehicles and equipment to ensure operational readiness and reliability.
• Supervise and manage maintenance contractors, vendors, and maintenance personnel to ensure work is completed safely and effectively.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, and calibrations in accordance with JIG and company requirements.
• Manage spare parts inventory, coordinate procurement activities through SAP, and maintain accurate maintenance and stock records.
• Investigate equipment failures, operational delays, and incidents, and coordinate corrective actions and reporting.
• Support the implementation and compliance of Safety Management System (SMS), Loss Prevention System (LPS), 5S, and other operational controls.
• Issue and track maintenance work notifications, assign tasks, and verify completion according to established standards and procedures.
• Ensure product quality control, equipment inspections, and maintenance records are consistently maintained and updated.
• Liaise with airport authorities, airline representatives, and key stakeholders to support operational requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and response activities and perform other duties assigned by management.

• Secondary school certificate, technical school, or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in aircraft refueling, aviation operations, or related maintenance activities.
• Sound knowledge of aviation refuelling operations, equipment maintenance, and industry safety standards.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using SAP or similar inventory/maintenance management systems is an added advantage.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and coordinate equipment maintenance activities.
• Valid RTD “E” driving licence is preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Committed to safety, operational excellence, and compliance with aviation and company requirements.
• Willing to be based at KLIA, Sepang
