Job Description Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components that meet ASTM's stringent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC Machines: Set up and operate CNC machines to machine parts to specifications from engineering drawings.
  • Programming: Write, modify, and optimize CNC programs to machine complex parts efficiently and accurately.
  • Quality Control: Perform inspections and measurements of machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on CNC machines to ensure they operate at peak efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to CNC operations, tooling, and programs.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machining processes, inspections, maintenance, and programming changes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless integration of CNC machining processes into overall production workflow.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining accuracy, efficiency, and overall quality.
Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Preferred minimum of 3 years of experience operating and programming CNC machines.
