Job summary

Nobel Industries in Malaysia seeks a skilled technician to operate and maintain complex narrow-web label‑printing equipment. You will diagnose machine faults, document root causes and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team.

You will standardise settings and setup methods, train backup operators, and ensure safe, reliable production. Strong problem solving, documentation, and coaching abilities are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience with narrow-web label-printing equipment or comparable printing machinery.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and machine-setting ability.
• Able to document technical work and patiently coach less-experienced operators.
• Consistent attendance, safety and production discipline are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate label-printing machines for complex, high-risk or technically demanding production jobs.
• Diagnose machine faults, document root causes and coordinate repair or escalation.
• Plan and complete preventive-maintenance tasks with proper records and spare-parts control.
• Standardise machine settings, setup methods and troubleshooting guides.
• Train and assess backup operators so routine production is not dependent on one person.
• Work with Production and QC to prevent repeat machine-related defects.
