Job summary

Assist Project Manager in managing all M&E works at construction site. Liaise with subcontractors and clients to ensure M&E works follow drawings and specifications. Conduct M&E sub-contractor meetings and prepare minutes. Monitor and report on all M&E activities.

Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Engineering; minimum 2 years M&E experience; good knowledge of M&E systems; AutoCAD proficiency; strong communication. Preference for Langkawi-based candidates as accommodation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in M&E works, preferably in building construction projects.
• Good technical knowledge and understanding of M&E systems and site coordination.
• Proficient in AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to liaise with authorities, consultants and staff at all levels.
• Able to work independently, coordinate multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in managing all M&E works at construction site.
• Liaise with subcontractors and client/consultants to ensure M&E works follow drawings and specifications.
• Identify and recommend improvements in M&E designs and construction techniques.
• Conduct M&E sub-contractor meetings and prepare minutes of meeting.
• Monitor and keep record of all M&E work activities for reporting.
• Assist Quantity Surveyor in verification of M&E sub-contractors' progress claims.
• Liaising with government authorities when required.
