Job summary

IJM Corporation Berhad in Selangor is seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to coordinate installation, integration and commissioning of MEP systems.

You will monitor ACMV and BMS performance, review drawings and specifications, and collaborate with consultants, subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 4+ years of construction experience; data center projects are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation, integration and commissioning of MEP systems.

Job description

Coordinate and support the installation integration and commissioning of mechanical electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems including external facility equipment (OFE) such as power and cooling systems.

Monitor and assist in the implementation of air-conditioning (ACMV) and Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure proper operation, environmental control and system reliability.

Oversee ACMV systems including chilled water piping CRAC/CRAH units ducting airside distribution and ventilation systems

Ensure effective integration of Building Management System (BMS) with HVAC power fire protection and monitoring systems

Review shop drawings technical submissions and material specifications to ensure compliance with project standards and engineering requirements

Monitor construction progress and ensure quality of workmanship timely completion and adherence to safety regulations

Coordinate with consultants subcontractors and vendors to resolve technical and coordination issues during design and construction

Plan and participate in functional testing, system integration, and commissioning activities for mechanical and electrical systems

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.

4+ years of experience in construction field.

Data Center construction experience is a Plus.

Strong analytical and communications skill
