Job summary

Pembinaan Fuji Baru Sdn Bhd is seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to support site activities, review design drawings, and coordinate M&E work programmes to meet safety, cost and quality targets.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a Professional Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, know AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, and possess good communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate or Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in drafting/design in mechanical building projects is preferred.
• At least 2 years of drafting experience in mechanical building fields is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand project policy for safety, schedule, cost and quality to achieve site goals.
• Support system troubleshooting to ensure critical systems perform without planned downtime.
• Negotiate with owners, developers and subcontractors to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Plan and implement coordinated work programmes for sites.
• Check discrepancies between design and M&E drawings.
• Ensure constructions align with approved design and materials.
• Arrange submissions to authorities and utilities.
• Liaise with M&E subcontractors, suppliers and customers.
• Supervise and report on performance of M&E subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare with M&E specialists the work method statements or SOPs when required.
• Be able to understand figures/drawings.
• Demonstrate a dynamic, motivated, committed and proactive approach.

To jointly prepare with the specialist M&E subcontractors, the various work method statements and/or Safe Operating Procedures when required

Requirement:
